Have fun while learning the fundamentals of ice skating. The Learn to Skate Program is open to individuals of all ages, children thru adult. No previous skating experience is required. Each class consists of a half hour group lesson and a half hour of a supervised practice session. Cost: $100

HELMET RULE!
All children under the age of 7 are REQUIRED to wear a bike or approved ice hockey helmet. Power Play does not rent or loan helmets. Ice hockey helmets with a face cage are recommended and available for purchase in the Pro Shop.

Suggested Clothing
All children should dress warmly. The rink is cold and beginners tend to spend a lot of time on the ice. Kids should wear winter gloves, winter coat, socks, snow pants or layered sweat pants and of course a HELMET.

Parent Skate
Parents may skate in the practice area with their child during their child’s practice time. We may limit access during sold out sessions. Parent skate cost is $3.50 and includes rental skates if needed. Note: All parents skating with their child must pay the $3.50 parent skate fee regardless if you have your own skates or not. There is a $20 - 7 week pass available for purchase as well.
